My custom domain is stuck on Pending
Check the record's target and type, turn off Cloudflare's proxy, clear a conflicting record, and give DNS a few minutes, in that order.
A domain stays Pending until teem can reach it over HTTPS. Most domains go Live within a few minutes of the DNS record going in. If yours hasn't after fifteen, work down this list. If Settings → Domain shows a reason under What's holding it up, start there.
The record points somewhere else
Open your DNS provider and compare the record letter by letter with the one in Settings → Domain. It has to be a CNAME, its name has to be the exact domain you connected, and its target has to be customers.teem.so. Some providers add your domain to the name for you, so help there means help.yourcompany.com, and typing the full name gives you help.yourcompany.com.yourcompany.com.
Cloudflare's proxy is on
If your DNS is on Cloudflare, an orange cloud next to the record means Cloudflare answers for the domain itself, and teem never sees the traffic. Switch the record to DNS only (grey cloud).
Another record holds the same name
A name can carry one CNAME and nothing else. If an A, AAAA or older CNAME record already uses help.yourcompany.com, delete it so the new one takes effect.
DNS hasn't caught up
Some providers take up to an hour to publish a change. teem keeps checking every minute, so you can leave the page and come back. Check now runs the check on the spot.
You used a bare domain
yourcompany.com on its own often can't hold a CNAME. Connect a subdomain like help.yourcompany.com instead: click Remove, then connect the new one.
Your domain limits who can issue certificates
If your DNS has a CAA record, it may block the certificate teem requests for your domain. Add letsencrypt.org and pki.goog to it, or ask whoever manages your DNS.
