Runs on teem

Invite your team

Add the people who will answer messages. Everyone you invite joins as a member, and your plan holds five seats.

Only owners can invite people. Go to Settings → Members, type an email address and send the invitation. They get an email with a link that signs them in and puts them straight into your organization.

Owners and members

There are two roles.

An owner can do everything: change organization settings, connect Slack, rotate keys, invite and remove people, handle billing, and delete the organization.

A member answers conversations, triages feedback, writes changelog entries and Help Center articles. They do not see the signing secret and cannot change who is on the team.

Everyone you invite joins as a member. The person who created the organization is its owner, and an owner cannot be removed. Owners and members: who can do what has the full list.

Seats

Your plan includes five seats. Invitations that haven't been accepted yet count, so remove an old invitation to free its seat. If you need more than five, email [email protected].

What the person invited sees

The invitation carries a link that signs them in directly. That link is good for fifteen minutes, because it is a sign-in credential. If they open it later it will have expired, and they can sign in at teem.so with the address you invited and get a fresh code by email.

The first time they arrive, teem asks for their name and nothing else. That name is what gets signed on every reply they send, so it is worth using a real one.

If they already use teem with another organization, they still get the invitation email, and your organization appears in their menu in the top-right corner.

Removing someone

Remove them from the same screen. They lose access straight away, and so do any agents they created. Their replies stay on the conversations they answered; it is the seat that goes, not the history.
