Branded emails, more than one owner, and a faster first install
Emails that look like you
Status updates and changelog emails now carry your logo, your name and your accent color. Your voters see your brand at the top, with a small Powered by teem.so line in the footer.
Share ownership with your team
Owners can now make a teammate an owner from Settings → Members, or change an owner back to member. teem keeps at least one owner on every organization, so the last owner has no Make member button.
- Whoever created the organization stays an owner until it's deleted.
- Only that founder can delete the organization, in the dashboard or through the API.
- Your own row in the team list says (you).
A faster first install
A new organization opens on a Get started page that shows what already works and what's left. The inbox stays on one card until your widget goes live.
Install gives you two routes. Paste the prompt into your coding agent, or follow the steps by hand. The manual steps start with a plain identify() call. Signing comes as an optional step, with Rails and Node examples that explain what it protects. Press Check again to confirm the widget loaded on your site.
New owners also get one welcome email with their portal address and an Install the widget button.
For developers
- Call
teem.reset()when someone signs out of your app or switches accounts. The widget starts a new visitor session, so the next person never sees the last one's conversation. - The Install, REST API, MCP, Connect Claude and Connect ChatGPT docs now live in a Developers topic in teem's Help Center.
- The install doc links example repos that show signed
identify()in each framework.
Fixed
- The widget's feedback list scrolls to show every request. It used to cut off the ones past the fold.
- Install waits for the widget to load on your own site before it says installed. A load from your public board no longer counts.
- The Runs on teem badge on your public pages sits on one line and opens teem.so, on a custom domain too.
